The New Zealand Taoist Council is an incorporated society dedicated to the study, practice and public understanding of Taoism. We welcome people of different cultures to encounter its wisdom through learning, reflection, ceremony, art and service.
新西兰道教协会是在新西兰依法注册的社团，致力于道教信仰、哲学与文化的研究、实践和公共传播。我们以开放包容的方式，让不同文化背景的人通过学习、修持、科仪、艺术与公益认识道教。
Our purpose is not to reproduce a distant past. It is to carry forward the enduring principles of Dao, virtue, naturalness and harmony in ways that are meaningful to life in Aotearoa today.
我们的目标不是复刻遥远的过去，而是让“尊道贵德、道法自然、清静和合”的恒久智慧，在今天的新西兰进入真实生活、服务社会。

Taoism is rooted in Chinese civilisation. Our Council engages with that tradition in New Zealand with humility—seeking dialogue, qualified guidance, scholarship and cultural exchange while remaining accountable to New Zealand law and society.
道教根植于中华文明。新西兰道教协会尊重其历史传统与宗教规范，积极寻求与正规道教组织、宫观、院校及学者开展师资、学术与文化交流；同时坚持依法治理，回应新西兰本地社会。
